Three Numbers That Decide Every Window Robot Purchase

Most window robot reviews describe a spec sheet and call it a test. Suction Pa is listed. Navigation algorithm is named. A score is assigned. The buyer buys the robot, attaches it to a window, and discovers the spec sheet was not the product.

How Every Review Works

The Test Protocol

Every robot runs through six standard tests: light soil (dust and fingerprints), heavy grime (exterior glass, weeks uncleaned), a three-solution streak assessment, corner and edge coverage measurement, a navigation stress test on non-standard window configurations, and a Day 1 vs Day 14 pad degradation comparison. Tests run in the same order for every robot so comparisons are meaningful.

The Three Metrics

Corner Residual is measured with a ruler at all four corners after every cleaning cycle. Streak Index records streak outcomes across three solution types under two lighting conditions. Pad Tax is calculated using actual pad replacement costs, solution consumption rates, and time cost at standard labor rate. All three numbers appear in every review.

The Verdict
